We dance every Thursday from 7:30 pm — Plus and A1, with an A2 preview on the first Thursday of the month. Guests dancing Plus or above are welcome any time; newcomers start with our beginners’ course.

Who we are — in one paragraph
The Bavarian Starlights are a square dance club in Ensdorf near Amberg (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria), founded in 2004 and an EAASDC member since 2005. We dance every Thursday from 7:30 to 10 pm at the Pfarrsaal St. Jakob — Plus and A1, with an A2 preview on the first Thursday of the month, called by our own caller Gerhard Maier. Guests dancing Plus or above are welcome any time and dance for free; newcomers join through our beginners’ course. Around ten active members, three languages — and the only Thursday club night in the region.

Come as a guest: Plus and A1 every Thursday, A2 preview on the first Thursday. Free of charge, with a short registration — friendship book included.
You're looking for a club?
From Plus upwards you can become a member: your own caller, level-up to A2 without an extra class, a small club with a say.
You've never danced before?
Then the beginners' course is your way in — from scratch to Mainstream in a fixed group. Write to us, and we'll let you know as soon as it starts.
